Writing Program Administration, Methods and Methodology for Composition Research, Rhetoric of Craft, Disability Studies, and Archival Work, especially from the Civil Rights Movement.
I taught English in Alabama for several years before joining the Rhetoric and Composition PhD program at Georgia State. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I felt the need for a stronger theoretical background to inform my pedagogical choices in the classroom. While I always like rereading Freire and hooks, I also read urban fantasy and the classics. When I am not working to become a better teacher and writer, I walk my dogs, crochet and knit, and cook vegetarian food.
